Dropzones
So below is the list of drop zones I’ve jumped from. I know, I haven’t been to many DZs but that’s going to change this year.
Skydive the Farm
Pros: Friendly, relaxed and very skilled skydiving community, large landing zone, Mike G (m4st3r3r3r rigger) and Hans (DZO)
Cons: Low load frequency, inconsistent plane, must drive to the airport
Overall, STF is a great DZ to jump from. It feels like you just know everyone there even if you don’t know their name
Also, Hans and Mike G will make sure you will have safe and fun skydives while you are there.
Large landing zone is a plus but it makes you lazy though.
Atlanta Skydive Center
Pros: High frequency loads (20+ on a good day), cheap lift tickets, AC hanger, located in the airport, lots of rental equipments, # of experienced packers
Cons: Very busy staff, small landing zone
A great place if you want to get as many loads as possible in a day. People are great too but many times they are with a tandem/aff student so I found it hard to find time to talk to them sometimes

more to come as I visit them…
